For transabdominal sampling of amniotic fluid (usually between 15th and 18th pregnancy well) for prenatal diagnosis of genetic disorders of the foetus. It is also used for cytogenetic and biochemical studies. accurate sharpening of the needle allows an easy and atraumatic insertion. Its mandrel is provided with an ultrasound detectable tip allowing an echo-guided insertion, and it is colour coded for an easy identification of the needle size. The needle is provided with an adjustable stopper to determine insertion depth, and with a female luer lock connector to collect the amniotic fluid through a syringe. Made in Italy.
